Distributor King Dizzy: Ignitor Replacement
I have a td44u Distributor King dizzy and I need to replace the ignitor, should I use one from a Obd 1 Gsr? Btw, I'm aware that I will need to do some modification (switch the heat sinks) because they use some knock-off "made in Canada" style ignitors. Also wondering if anyone has experienced any problems after putting in an oem ignitor into a D.K. dizzy?
dont they have some sort of lifetime warranty on them?

Unfortunately I bought it used off of a guy here on h-tech. I can't get a hold of him now... Their website says only 3 year warranty, they most of changed it to a lifetime warranty recently
The same thing happened to my Distributor King distributor. Jeremy at Redzone swapped out the part with an OEM ignitor and now it works great. This was after I had already returned my first one, it happened twice to two different distribitors. It must be common to this model of distributor
