hi,
Ive been shopping around alot for tigs and ive narrowd my options down to these to. Which would you guys get? The reason i like the thermal arc is because its compact and would be alot easier to use because i wouldnt need a 80 amp breaker. just looking for some advice from you guys. Thanks

I personally have a Sync 180, and love it. However, I have heard nothing but good things about both machines. I think, from what I have heard/read, that either way you go, you will be very happy. Good Luck!

Excellent choice...you will love it. By the way if you want a good deal on the unit with great customer service call Bill at the link below. He has sold a number of TA-185's to the guys on the hobart board including me. He will usually go a bit lower than the posted price and he is very nice and will answer all your quesions with no atitude at all..even if you are a newbie.
