2005 Accord Maintenance Required Light - How do you reset it?

2005 Accord Maintenance Required Light - How do you reset it?
As soon as the car hit 10,000 miles the "Maintenance Required Light" stayed on. Since I maintain the car myself, I don't want to take the car to the dealer to pay $$ just to reset the light. How do you reset this "Maintenance Required Light" on a 2005 Honda accord 2.4L? Any help would be most appreciated.

I believe it's in the owner's manual.
Turn the car off.
Press & hold the odometer reset button.
Turn the car on, don't need to actually start the engine.
Continue holding the button for maybe 20 seconds.
Lamp will flash & eventually turn off.
Turn the car off.
