Default LS cat on ek

My goofis friend, said that he put a ls cat. on his 98 HX for slightly better performance.
Is that possible ??

Well, if it is a HX, then the cat is built into the exhaust manifold. The only way that he could be running a cat off of an Integra would be to have either the stock 6th gen EX exhaust manifold, or an aftermarket header. If you put a header on an HX, would have to put some kind of cat on it, or you will get a CEL because of OBDII.

he does have aftermarket DC 4 2 1 headers.
He said that he hollowed out the cat from an ls and put it on his car for a slightly better performance, saying that he can feel his car pull for harder.
