Default Help using PR4 IM for swap in EG

I've got a b18b1 I will be putting into my eg8 very soon. I have all of the parts together, but still haven't figured out the sensors around the throttle body. It's a PR4 (b18a) IM and TB (long story, just want to get the engine in the car before winter). I came some info long ago about getting this to work properly in an eg but can't find the thread or remember the poster. Can anyone help me out with this? Sensors are definitely not one of my strong points...

Sorry, I didn't know there was an obd1 pr4 IM. Mine is obd0 (at least I'm fairly certain cuz it has the "PGM-FI" plaque on top).

you will have a vac nipple on the t-body for the map sensor instead of it bolting directly to the t-body

I'm completely lost when it comes to all of the vacuum hoses around the IM/TB, so I took a picture that hopefully someone could take the time to explain to me. I circled both ends of each hose for clarity (with my m4d MS Pa!Nt sk!LLzz, y0!).

RED = ?
BLUE = ?
LT GREEN = ?
DK GREEN = Breather hose, connects to intake arm?
PURPLE = ?
BROWN = ?
YELLOW = ?

Please help me fill in all of the blanks!! I know I'm a dumb **** but that means I need the most help

(The thing just to the right of the yellow circle is just the fuel line with plastic taped over the fitting).

I'll be using the EG wiring harness (but I have the complete DA harness if I need it) and will also be using the EG injectors (240cc, same as integra).

if you follow the metal tubes on the IM youll see that most of them wrap into each other, the brown, dark green(pcv hose) and purple ones run into the intake. the red ones the map sensor. the blue on goes to the carcoal canister and as does the yellow one. i believe the green one goes to the evap sensor, this is how it was on my da before i put on a newer model manifold. im guessing that thats a jdm engine?

my mistake, i always thought that the manual usmd a1 manifolds didnt have the dashpot closest to the FPR. the ones that had that where the autoa and they had a egr valve on them too.

Still looking for help with a couple of things. Thanks to the posts here I've learned most of what I need to know, but there are two sensors and their electrical plugs that are confusing me. What are the two cylinders next to the map sensor on the firewall?

{pic borrow from ThE bEe GuY}

One of them is the evap sensor and connects to the charcoal cannister, right? And what's the other one? As for the electrical connectors for those two sensors, I'm lost on those too. The DA has one plug for both of the sensors (2 wires to each), but my EG has a 2 wire plug to the evap sensor, and another 2 wire plug that connects to the back of the IM. The B18 intake has no place to plug this connector into, so could it be that the extra sensor on the DA is just inside the IM on the EG? Please help me!!

if you have an obd1 chassis i would just buy the obd1 intake manifold. you will save plenty of time. some of those vacuum lines on the pr4 is not even needed. you will still need obd1 tb

I'M DOING THE SWAP THIS WEEKEND AND DESPERATELY NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME!!!

1) In the picture of the engine bay I posted earlier, what are the two sensors that are just to the left of the map sensor, on the firewall to the right of the intake manifold?

2) Do I need both of them? (Someone said I don't need one of them but that doesn't sound right...)

3) The DA has one plug for both of the sensors (2 wires to each), but my EG has a 2 wire plug to the evap sensor, and another 2 wire plug that connects to the back of the IM. The B18 intake has no place to plug this connector into, so could it be that the extra sensor on the DA is just inside the IM on the EG?

if your swaping into a eg then just use the existing firewall hard ware and plug the lines you wont need, your not going to need the sensors from the DA.you already have them on the eg.

My problem is that I don't know where one of the two sensors on the DA is on my EG. And there's still the matter of the extra electrical plug on the EG's IM... Is that the same sensor as the extra one on the firewall of the DA?

should be right next to the map sensor.

In the EG? There are no other sensors next to the map sensor in my civic.

oh yea, well put it this way what ever vacuum line that you disconnect from your eg, you plug back into b18. the pr4 manifolds and the p75 manifolds were different because the pr4 has like 4 or 5 vacumm line ports and the p75 only has 2 or 3.

your using what ecu the 94-95 p75?

yeah, p75.

Okay, so I just found out that the two "sensors" next to the map in the DA are actually vacuum switches for the egr. Is that right? Does the EG only have one egr vac switch (attached to the back-right of the IM)?

they are evap purge valves, the eg should have one which should work, because the 94-95 ls's only had one. the second solenoid on the da is a cut-off valve for the evap solenoid.
