I was wondering how you take the sound deadening material out the easiest way? I took a part of it out and its a total pain.

Take a chisel and a hammer, and bang DOWN and away on the chisel (so you don't scrape the paint). Then use a chemical remover to take the rest of it away. It should come off in big chunks. That is how I did it. The real pain is getting all the little bits of black away.

its gonna be a pain in the *** no matter which way you do it. i got mine up by using a propane torch to heat up the tar, then use a chisle to scrape it up. then use brake cleaner to get the rest up. its easy but it takes forever.

Where do you get dry ice from? How do you use dry ice to take it out? Give me the details.
