Default camber kits

today i went to this guys house and he he crazy with honda"s. he told me that no one make a kit for 1988-1991 civic. he also told me that all the kit that are addvertived are not for that year they are for the 1992 and up he said that the companys do this to get more customs.

so is this true of false?

I have a 1990 hb and i put the kit that "said it was for my car" and it pushed the uper controll arm out and now it is hiting the body. Is this ok or should i lift the car up a little or will it just beat it up and be fine. i will post pic when i find my camara.

o one more thing did DX come when a sunroof because the same guy said that my car was not an si because of the heater, tail lights, and interior doors.
when i bought the car i was told it was and 1990 SI or is it a DX with si slaped on the back and a si seats?

Go to SummitRacing.com and do a search for CRX Camber Kit

Ingalls makes one for our cars.

Also, if your car's vin starts with JHMED9 then it's an Si.

Hey man first off, if it's an Si it will have a sunroof. If not then you can tell by your VIN number.

I just installed a camber kit yesterday, I bought it from ebay. My motor is in the machine shop so I figured there wouldn't be a better time to do it. It was advertised as being for 88-91 but I don't think it was. When I installed it , it was hitting like you described, so I loosened the bottom nuts and pushed the top in as far as possible and it just did clear it, so I tightened the nuts and now I have just a touch of camber. My toe out was so fu*ked up so I took a tap measure and measured the I.D. from rim to rim and made the toe as close as possible and took it to get aligned!! But hey look on the bright side, if it hits the frame(top of fenderwell) that is as far as the wheel can travel up so your body roll will be minimized! haha JK
Good look with this. Let us know how it works out for you!
