Default The problems keep coming: Cam Lobe Wear?

I inspected my cams today and on the intake cam on the middle lobe of each cylinder at the top of the lobe (the pointy part) is slightly flattened to the right of dead center.

Its not REALLY flattened, but if you run your finger over it you can feel the flat. The surface is still smooth- no scratches and all the other lobes aside from the middle (on ea. cyl) are fine (no flats).

My car was running fine when i pulled them. Is this normal wear or something else?

Im not sure if the cam is stock or aftermarket, but i am running aftermarket springs...

thx

OK i snapped some pics.

The wear is actually on the EXHAUST cam, not intake, my mistake.

You can see the wear on cyl 1, 2, 3- its pretty even, but cyl4 lobes show no wear.

I did a valve. adjust a few weeks ago, when i went to adjust them they were pretty damn tight. I adjusted intake to .007 and exhuast to .008

What do you think:

I see what your talking about. Tell me this, when you put your finger over it does it feel like a dip in it or is it just flat. Could just be an optical illusion from the pics. But if you feel a dip then thats not good.

its not a dip, its defintley a flat. Maybe not even a flat, more of a "less round" section than the rest of the lobe.

Here i made this real quick, it kinda explains what i mean (i hope)
