Default Transmission Noise????

98 Accord 4dr lx 4cyl. Auto 70k miles
Ok.... so today im driving through a neighborhood with a bad headache so i turn my music off and come up to a speed bump. Once i cruise over the bump and i step on the gas i hear a "klunk" noise coming from under the car.... i guess i never noticed it cause of the loud muffler on the back. The street is full of those damn things so i kept hearing klunk" klunk" klunk" klunk"

Is this a bad or im jus being peranoid.....

you heard the klunk only when you went over the speed bumps??? If so, check your exhaust for broken/disconnected hangers or anything else underneath the car that isn't secured.

Can the "Clunk" be biased either to one side or another or front/rear? I might be able to narrow it down a little bit.

From the front because it sounded like it was coming from the gear box...

I concur with Deserthonda (we do the same wavelength thing sometimes) with regards to the sway bar bushings. If you feel that it's almost at your feet, it could be the body bracket/bushing for the sway bar (rather than at the spindle end)
As a precaution I'd look at the rear tranny mount while you're in the area (it won't hurt (much )
