Default GS-r B18C fit in the Type R?

i got a good ideal on the gs-r headers righ tnow.
Im curious if it will fit in the Type R

As long as it doesn't interfere with the ITR tranny brace, but that's really unlikely with a rather generic header.

There are a couple of variables here. First, it depends upon your definition of "fit". Second, it depends upon what year GS-R the header is for.

the one im buying is the DC SPORT HEADER CERAMIC COAT, there a crack in the ITR header right now

There are probably any number of people here who have their old, take off USDM ITR headers in the basement.

That might be preferable to putting a GS-R header on...I dunno....

Again, what year GS-R is this header for, and are you looking for something that will bolt right up to the rest of your current ITR exhaust system?

no it will not fit, it will only bolt up to the head and will not reach back far enough for the cat. hope this answers your original question. but why dont you just get the same header but get it for a type r model or ls.

This is for only true for 94-99 GSR headers. 00-01 GSR headers will fit an ITR.
