intake manifold

Default intake manifold

i have a 95 civic ek sohc intake manifold i want to get cut and re welded to make the runners shorter so the air dont have to travel far to get into the motor what do you guys think about this.

lol, well i can do better than that!

It won't work. The runners are angled, if you take a section out, then they won't line back up.

ok cut the l bow off the intake manifold and fabricate lil peaces metal to join back where the penilium joins the runners how about that ?

Cut the backside off the manifold, cut the old runners off and make new ones. dremel the **** out of it to make it all work...kind of. Why do you want to do this again?

your best bet is an aftermarket manifold. itll be cheaper than what you want to do, and also make more power.
