whp and hp with voltons?
im confuse! everytimes i ask this question, i need get an exact answer. how much whp or hp can u get with this 4 voltons on a gsr? the voltons are 4-1 header, aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake, and intake manifold? people give me answers like, it give about 20hp and others say it only gives 10hp. im really confuse! this is for people who have all this volt on on their gsr. how much gain do u guys get?
God dammit.. learn the language! It's english not whatever you're trying to type.
You'll get -10 horsepower. Take them off, put the stock stuff back on and drive your car.
If you want an accurate # go to a dyno before and then after. Everyone else around is just going to guess.

Really you dont "gain" any HP, you are allowing the car to make the HP it is supposed to make. You are adding more air, and letting the engine get rid of the wasted gases easier.
You gain HP with things like cams, turbo, supercharger....etc

You are still gaining HP from the original setup.. It doesnt matter that your gaining it from allowing the engine to breathe better or by changing the internals, your still making more hp than you originaly started with.
i forget which magazine it was, either turbo or hci or something but they had a street car gsr. it had to be all street legal mods. the baseline was like 150 and after a dc header a skunk 2 intake manifold a aem intake and a exhaust, a skunk 2 i think and they got 170.
So you're going with voltons eh? Nice selection, you should easily gain 100 whp with just 2 voltons, if you want even more extreme horsepower, get the zoltons, they gain you about 200 whp each one.
