Turn signal not turning off with momo wheel?
I installed a momo steering wheel on my 96 hatch and when i removed the air bag and un hooked the wires i must have removed or unplugged something that allows the turn signal to turn off when it hits that certain point when u turn your steering wheel. Anyone know what i did that is not allowing this to work now? I have to maually turn it off with my hand and this gets annoying.
the turn signals are tied into the hazard lights, so it could be the hazard switch or wires to the hazard switch. or i guess the lever on the steering wheel could have some issues that occured during the install. i guess the best thing is the take the wheel off again and check all everything is ok.
this has got to be annoying as well, not only to you but other drivers. hope someone can give you better answers than i did. good luck with it.
EDIT, i didnt read everything, you have to manually do it yourself, that sounds about normal, i guess you culd fab a bar or something that will do it for you, otherwise that dont sound that bad

im lookin up this in the Haynes manual, the reason you may need to fix that is because if you decide to move to a state with a stringent inspection check, it would fail. It would fail in Maryland for a non stock steering wheel, and the self cancel not working. So, ill see what Haynes says.....
it really has nothing on self cancel in the Haynes repair manual (maybe i need the upgrade manual they published)....o well i tried, i really have no clue why some ppl's work and others' dont.
