Default Opionions on autozone rebuilt NA1 nsx front calipers

I am looking in to buying NA1 NSX front calipers for my ITR. I called Autozone and they are a hell of a deal there for a rebuilt set, well i guess it would only be a good deal if they were good quaility...

Is any one using these calipers from autozone or any rebuilt calipers from them for that matter???

Will they hold up to track abuse???

Any alternatives or suggestions???

I would appriciate any insight

TIA

Are they OEM rebuilds? I'm curious as I didn't know you could get them from autozone.

Although I know nothing about the Autozone or other like national autoparts chains as per remanned parts and their processes and tolernaces. I'm not sure if I would trust something as important like a brake caliper as a remanned item that I personally didn't rebuild myself for track use. This is mostly based on what I've seen and heard on how CV joints and axles are remanned.

For a beater or used Daily Driver I do trust remanned items though.

BUT, I have seen Centric's process for remanning calipers and they look to be very thorough and one I'd entertain:
http://www.centricparts.com/prod03.htm

Centric is the company that supplies many rotors for Cobalt Friction.

Let us know how it goes because it may be a direction I might head towards in the future if it proves successful.

you are buying the caliper mainly, so why not?
The rebuild kit shouldn't be too much regardless.
I've rebuilt 4 piston mazda calipers from a fc for 10 bucks each caliper from advance and they work fine.
It's basically that piston that has the rubber grommet that goes bad.
If it's a good price, why not?
