Default engine just sent out code 3, map sensor

my cel said code 3. my map sensor is error. is it bad to not do nothing about it? or is it something i need to change right away. and how much would those things cost. i have a 94 civic hatch cx. stock. thanks.

Your car should be running in limp mode.

MAP sensors can be found everywhere. I think i have about 5 floating around in my garage. Just go to a pick your part and pocket one.

code 3 means defective sensor or wiring problem.
if you know someone with an EG try swapping it with them to see if it fixes your problem. OR pick one up off luserkid or even ebay...
