don't know shit about tires, please help!
so my stock finally came to their end, i have a 92 civic hatch CX with a gsr, i live in socal so the weather doesn't get too cold and in the summer it doesn't get too hot, i don't know what tired i should get, i run my car atleast every weekend(street).I need somethin that's not gonna le tme lose too much traction and i also don't wanna slide on a sharp turn, what do you guys recommend?
Your car came from the factory with 165/70-13 tires. The best tire size for your 15" GS-R wheels is 195/50-15.
For the best performance, I recommend the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, $85/tire in your 195/50-15 size from the Tire Rack. If you want a tire that costs less but still has decent performance (not as good as the Goodyear though, but decent), then get the Toyo T1-R, $60/tire in your 195/50-15 size from onlinetires.
Check out the new (December) issue of Car and Driver, which tested eleven top-of-the-line tires and rated the Goodyear first. The Toyo finished near the bottom, but that's why it costs less; it's still a good tire if you want to spend $60/tire instead of $85/tire.
If you want to learn more about the various kinds of tires on the market, read this post. And feel free to ask more questions.

You can't get really high performance tires for 13 inch wheels. The best you can do is a Sumitomo tire, but even that is not all that great. As noted in this recent topic.
If you are taking your car to autocrosses or to the track, that's a different story. You can get track tires in 13" sizes. But they wear very quickly so they're not a very good choice for street use.
The other option is to get another set of bigger wheels (new or used). There are a few options for high-performance 14" tires and a whole lot of options for high performance 15" tires.
