Default Question on my h22a swap!!!

i have a few question can someone give some professional advice(h22a 91 accord)

1. whats the diffrence in swapping with and h22a tranny or h23 tranny,is one better than the other, i was told that the gears in the h23 are longer. does that mean better?

2.is having and lsd tranny really worth it, i know both wheels spend, but does it really matter, if so what can i do to get the same feel or my tranny be mor effiecent.

3. how do i get to make my v-tech kick in more horse power, im aware that v-tech is not turbo and supercharge, but there must be a way where my v-tech can be more affective than usual giving me more push when it kicks in.

1. h22 has shorter gears so its better since youre NA

2. having lsd is a plus

3. your vtec wont kick in more horespower..u mean lowering it to make it kick in earlier? just get hondata and get it tuned.

h22 is a better tranny and have lsd is so much bettter than 1 wheel spin. vtec is not a horsepower thing, it kicks in at 55000 rpm normally. if u want it to kick it in earlier, get a vtec controller. or get it tuned.

Using a VTech controller (Apexi makes a good one) and having it dyno tuned, you can adjust the VTech engagement point to make optimum power. Not saying your gonna make any more than maybe 2-3 horsepower but it will definitely help with performance.

Well lets look at a few things first:

1) It's Vtec not Vtech

2) The difference between the H22 and H23 trannies is not as big as everyone is saying the 1st through 3rd gears are teh same in both trannies. 4th and 5th gears are where the difference is the H23 is longer

3) Didn't your parents teach to you respect your elders? This applies to post counts as well.
