0b0 v-tech spudering
I have a 1991 integra, I swaped a B16a1 into it. The engine runs fine and throws no codes but as soon as v-tech hits it spuders(hesatation). It spuders threw 5000-6000rpms then after it passes 6000 it feels like it starts to run smoother. By the way the v-tech sounds really loud, maybe not normal?
It is spelled VTEC (there's no H).
Do you have any modifications to the new engine you swapped in? Totally stock? What ECU are you using?

The engine is stock, i mean i have a iceman intake but thats it. My ecu is a pr3. My friend has the same ecu, and i borrowed his and the same problem accured. When I first installed the engine i was throwing a code for the knock sensor, then i replaced the knock senor with a new one. The same code came up, so i ran a independent wire from the knock senor to the ecu. After doing this the ecu stoped throwing any codes. I'm still having the sputtering problem.
