I attempted to use the horn the other day & guess what...oh crap! That was way too close! Never heard of the cable reel going bad before but theres a first time for everything I guess. I thought is was the fuse then the horn buttons then the horn itself. Well, I grounded the wire right behind the cable reel & walla!, the horn works. Now, how much do these things cost?

 

Not so cheap. 2 yrs ago when I installed JDM SRS Momo, I had to remove plastic key tab from cable reel and install were ok. That time I heard it cost over $100.00 for a new one, don't quote me.

 

you can find one at a junk yard for...maybe $20
