I have a 94 dx coupe and recently my car has started to rev itself and then I started getting the check engine light periodically also.It will come on but once i restart my car it goes away for some time.Now i did the whole diagnostic procedure and came up with code 43.Now i did some searching here and was told that if I changed the O2 sensor that would probably do the job now i haven't had a problem with the CEL yet but i just changed it today, but I still have the problem with the car revving itself still.any help is definately appreciated.

 

is it erractic idle , up and down rpm or really revving high?
if its just up n down rpm, usually the FITV or IACV getting dirty .

 

its the erratic idle it doesn't go more than 500rpm higher.I'm familiar with the IACV which I was thinking could be the problem but whats the FITV.And have any idea how much these run for new.
