Cam timing SoCal
whats up guy. I just recently dyno my 2.0L at Bubba at Do it Dyno in socal area and pulled a 198whp and 134tq on 91 and 206whp and 138tq on c111 w/ more timing. my setup is 2.0L ls/vtec 12.5:1, b16 head w/ stock valves, BC4 cams, AEBS evolution IM, Sparkracing headers w/ 2" collector, and velocity stack intake on hondata s200. I was wonder how much cam timing/degree can I advance or retard before I hit the piston becuz he only advance it 1 degree and left it alone. also, on my last dyno w/ skunk2 s2 cams, type-r header, and AEM v2 I made 195whp and 145tq so I know that my motor is capable on making more tq if the motor had more cam timing. also, we do you guys think of bubba's tuning? any replies we be greatly appreciated.
