My point is that some manufacturers will only honor their warranty if the other parts are up to snuff - meaning only their valvetrain with their cams, etc.

wow 9.2k? I might have to be looking into this setup. what kind of power is it making to the wheel? This would all run on a stock block right?

arrrgghh...
you mean the bottom of the retainer should be machined thinner ?? how much (mm) don??
my bad experience in early 2000 is with JG retainer (they claim it was TI, but i think it was alumunium).. 2 of my d series motor blown because their retainer.. thats why i never use aftermarket retainer.

Don, since i never see skunk2 pro series retainer. what is your experience with this pro series retainer?
it doesnt mean i didnt trust skunk2, but im still traumatized with anything related to aftermarket retainer.

thanks don.

same here... i run it on the track almost to 9.5K on my stock shortblock ITR (setup was on the bottom of my sig, toda springs+pro2)... the peak was on 9ish-k
and on the dyno, this motor have seen 10.3k several time.. its because we dont watched the tach while we watching the graph climbing when we floor the car on the dyno..

Toda springs are rated to 12.5mm lift...i would check the install heigth and make sure the springs are not going to bind or bottom out. I've seen it happen on motors running D's with it not set up right.
