teg hid
i know that this is personal opinion but id like to hear other peoples as well...would you rather get the stock jdm hid that comes with the jdm front...or buy non hid jdm front and just buy aftermarket hid?

OEM hands down no questions asked. The cutoff and the output will be SO much better than those ugly aftermarket kits. plus you risk a chance of getting glares from those kits.
if you cant find OEM hid, then go the retrofit way
I dont think anyone has ever retrofitted HID projectors into JDM non-hid headlamps.
I have S2k projectors on my USDM 98+ front and i love em!!!

ditto that
actually retrofitted HID would be better as you would get a US LHD beam pattern. But OEM HID would be the best for ensuring everything is fit together and works properly.
Don't even think about an HID kit in the non-HID lights. Those are t3h suck

This is a fairly new setup so I just have day shots...

I'll try to get some night shots soon. This car is for sale by the way.
I have plenty of my non HID setup...

The only difference when looking at the car is the little circles in front of the projector instead of the lines going all the way across on the lens... you wouldn't be able to tell unless you were really close up. It's not like it changes the look of the car in any way.

OEM HID uses 4300K bulbs, the "blue" color you're thinking of is a result of the projector's optics with the lens and cutoff sheild. Look for pics of projector beam patterns on the hidplanet.com forums and you will see the blue band at the edge of the cutoff. You will not get this from stock Integra halogen projectors.
