max streetable comp. ratio for all motor B18C1?
I am doing some research into an all motor build up for my B18C1 this comin summer....I am not an expert by any means when it comes to compression ratios and what not...my question is when looking at different pistons what would be the max compression ratio that is safe for a daily? I am not looking to break any records for an N/A build but would like to see something around 220 whp. Any suggestions/advice/tips? I would also like to keep the stock piston size though..don't want to bore anything out and I don't think I should have to in order to hit the 220 whp mark. Sorry for my inexperience with all this....I am just now getting into the all motor stuff
I think 12.5:1 will be ok on pamp gas.
You can reach this C/R with B16b Honda pistons 81mm (are chiper than aftermarket).
with a good P&P head with multi valve job and Type-R valves, stage 3 cams with cam gears-retainers-dual springs-cam gears-Type-R Lma, Intake, Skunk Intake manifold, exhaust 2.25'+, header 4-1, decat pipe and Dyno-Tuning you'll get 210-220 whp.
Good luck

For that engine output exhaust must be 2.5.
