Hey guys, I was wondering approximately how much money I would be looking at if I wanted to do a GSR engine swap on my 96 Honda Civic EX coupe. It's an automatic right now, so if I were to get it done I'd want to change it to a manual as well. Just a ballpark figure, got my car about 6 months ago and I'm trying to start weighing out what my options are. Thanks.

 

From HMO it's gonna be about $3150 with a lot of the stuff you're going to need. I'd say 3500 or so to get everything accomplished.

 

Are we talking parts or labor or both parts and labor?

 

from what ive seen 3500 would do it if you DIY.

take it to a shop may be more, or less.

it all depends on what you find and what cost and condition it is in.
