EF brake line differences
I searched but could not find the info i need. Im trying to find out what years/models are interchangable. What are the differences in the years and models? I have a 88 HF. I was given a set of lines for a "Civic/CRX with rear drums 89-91". I was wondering if they would bolt up.
As far as I know, the only differences you'll see in brake lines between any 88-91 Civic/CRX are different fittings for the REAR lines on the 90-91 CRX Si with rear discs.
The ones you have should work fine

the front of the 88's are actually slightly different in the way the brake lines are held.
you can see the difference here.

the right is stock 88. the left is a tokico shock, with a bracket that converts an 88 to a 90 style. its a little different.
i actually cant say whether or not its interchangeable both ways or even one way, without this bracket at least. but thats the difference.
i guess you could ask someone for an unused bracket to fit to your 88 shock to make youre 89+ brakelines fit properly. try it out first.
