i have a crx charcoal can and im wonderin if i use hose clamps to get the thing to fit in my 94 teg, will it work just as well. the thing seems like a pretty basic idea so i was thinkin jus slap it in....am i wrong?

 

Are u talking about just using hose clamps to attach it to the car? If so i think that would be fine. As long as the hoses are hooked up i dont see why there would be a problem.

 

haha nm guys i popped the top off of the crx canister to get the vacume diaphram and put it in my old integ one and it fit fine

 

yea n00b question i guess but what does the charcoal canister do for the car...i know what it is and where it is and all that i just wanted to know the effects of it

 

it makes ur car run cleaner, saves the enviornment and doesnt affect performance in any way so keep it. side note...i jus drove my project teg for the 1st time ( i put the motor into an empty shell) and wow haha that feeling of acomplishment is better than any drug....now to mix them...thanks for hte help ht
