Hi, i have just installed a Type R Throttle Body and Intake manifold to my B16a2 obd1 and my car will not idle at all properly, it fluctuates from 1000rpm to 1500rpm when warm. When the car is warm i car hear loads of air being sucked in through the purge canister/carbon canister at the bottom of my car and when you block the purge valve pipe the idle goes good.

The car will not starts or idle when cold unless you have your foot on the throttle, i have to toe and heel until the car gets warm and then it just fluctuates unless you block the purge valve pipe. When i adjust the idle below 1000 then the fluctuation begins otherwise the car will remain at a constant high idle and still fluctuates every now an then.

The new TB has no FITV and the old one did, is this causing the problem??

Has anyone tried this setup and had any problems??
