If you do this don't get the cover. There is a company out there that sells a spray (not sure the company or I'd give you a link). Spray it on the liscense plate.... pictures show up with a white plate (glare)

I had the cover. It saved me twice. However, I got pulled over for it in MD and decided to take it off.

After I took the cover off, I bought the spray. I got hit with the camera again.LOL I had the spray on my license plate for over 2 years. When I got the picture ticket in the mail, I could tell my license plate was darker than others. The problem is I think you need to apply new coats every year or so.
