Default JDM D16a OBD1 w/ cable clutch

I have a 91 DX with the jdm d16a motor in it which was originally auto. The guy i bought it from converted it to manual and the clutch feels awfull as expected. The valve cover has no cable bracket on it because obd1s are hydro clutchs right? So what can i do just fab a bracket or will valve cover w/ bracket fit? Has anyone else done this swap and did the clutch the right way? Need guidence

Well the clutch is real stiff and feels like it doesnt wanna come back up its like a slow feeling clutch. it catches high and when i tried to adjust it to catch lower even the tinyest bit it felt like it wasent disengaging..the pedal has a weird spring on it too..not a regular spring its like a circular one.

go get a regular spring then, if it doesnt want to come back up then it might be the spring?
