Well it only took about four weeks, but the guy I told you guys about that ran me off the road-His insurance company finally settled this deal with me.They turned out $100.00 more than the full book!!!Thats love.... 
Below are some before pics of my baby stripped down to get sprayed "Copper Orange Mica"(Found on a 1999 Isuzu amigo,looks like a burnt copper color-) Im not trying to rice it out, just working with the budget I've been given. Hopefuly by next summer I'll have a set of 15" Slip Streams, Some suspension and a couple of other goodies. I thought about some motor work but my D15 is still putt'n so I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Believe it or not fellas that's the Factory paint in the pic.Thats how nice it use to look before that dushbag ran me into a damn mail box.But the color Im getting it shot isn't too far off from this...I just hope it looks decient afterwards.They said it should be done by this Friday

Well heres the latest on my baby's new paint job. It turned out pretty decent overall and the colr I dicided on didn't disapoint me. Tell me what you guys think, also if a set of slip streams would look o.k. Iwas thinking of something in black with a red pin stripe lip...I dunno------

why do they looks "cheap and cheesy" aside from the centercaps and the fact that rotas dont say "rays" or "volk" on the spokes doesnt make them look any worse. i personally like them better without.

Nice looking car, Civiclized! I think some black slipstreams is exactly what it needs.

They look cheap and cheesy cause they look like an old set of American Racing 5-spokes, with the center cap removed and spray painted black. I don't like Regamaster Evos, or SW388s either. 11.9lbs for a 15x6.5 Slipstream is a pretty good weight, but it is still 3.1lbs heavier than a Volk equivalent. That and is just a soft cast wheel, not a good hard forged unit. IMO the Slip/SW388/Evos are just plain ugly, im a fan of simple wheels, but not that simple.
