what steering rack do i use???? need help ASAP
i am about to convert my integra to a manual steering rack but was wondering which civic rack would work in my 2000 gsr. I found one for a 92-95 civic and another for 96-98 civic. please let me know what i need to do to make this work right.
i would keep my current one except it is f***ed up bad. there is hella play in the steering now. so i need a new one.
so you think i should just get another integra power steering rack and loop the hoses to delete the power steering?

cool, i will have to try that too first, but the 'play' in the steering just has made the steering very not responsive at all. my car used to feel like a go kart but now feels more like a boat. i hope that kinda explains it a lil better. thnx for your help.

will do thank you much for your help on this. i will check on it, but i think i'll be hittin you up shortly for a new rack. thnx again.
You cant miss it... Its a box located along the steering shaft. Break the first nut, then tighten it until it gets some resistance. Tighten the outer nut and drive it. If it still feels "sloshy" your rack is shot.
so does the eg non ps rack fit directly on a dc2? i've searched and all i found was people saying not to do it. What if you need to replace the steering rack? would it be better to get another integra one or eg non ps one?
