JDM DOHC F22B Engine... Will an H22 tranny FIT?
I hear pretty much all F/H series parts are interchangable, but someone was telling me I would need to make a custom bracket to mount the mid shaft onto the engine of the F22B if I used my H22A4 transmission from my 97 prelude?
He mentioned something about the F22B having a similar traction control setup similar the the SH prelude with ATTS/
is this true? Or would my NON SH prelude tranny bolt up fine with no issues.

f22b does not have ATTS...that was on the 5th gen prelude...the F22B DOHC motor is a much older motor. as said before, its based off of the H23, and just uses a different designed head manifold, and bore.
from what i have come to understand is that ALL H and F trannies/axles will line up in some way shape or form (axles somtimes as a "hybrid" of parts), unless of course you have an H22A7 w/ ATTS...in which case you just need the entire drivetrain and the ECU

Ok good to know, because the guy says he has seen this similar setup on euro accords as well, so I was a little puzzled thinking it was gonna need some custom fab to mount the mid shaft on.
