Default Good, quiet exhuast?

So i've got a 99 GSR with intake/jdm 4-1 and high flow cat being the only major mods. I currently have the full evo catback on as well. The exhuast it louder than my taste now, so I was wondering what my options are these days. I saw the apexi ws2 exhuast for cheap and it sounds like it is pretty quiet. Anyoen have any insight?

By far the quietest exhaust I have ever heard is the RSR Exmag.

I have a Fujitsubo RM-01A cat back, small resnatior where the cat goes(and no i did not cut the b pipe) and a Toda headder. Together all is super quiet. At idle you do not even hear a thing just a little more sub sonic noise. At cruse you hear nothing, wide open all is quiet until 6200 (vtec) then all you hear is intake noise all the way to 9800.

the RS-R is very quiet. My intake is louder then my exhaust. I also felt a lost of power in both end top and low.

My stock muffler was less restrictive.

Wow so you actually lost power? Yeah it sounds like I might be going with the apexi ws2. It is a great price and from what I hear quiet. I pretty much want to hear my cold air intake over the exhaust for most of the rpm range. Since I already have a catback, do they just sell the ws2 as an axleback? I don't even know if it would mesh up with my greddy piping, but it is worth a shot asking you guys. I feel liek such a girl, i've been out of the import scene for so long

I'm not sure if it mates up with the 98 ls or not, but if so, I might be willing to trade as well!

Search exhaust is the quietest....j/p dude...

I vote for Apexi World Sport 2...RSR is nice but expensive and WS would get the job done....

if anything ur stock exhaust is the most retrictive. Getting a world sport will be just as restrictive. I don't even think i felt any gains when installing my world sport. But after that I went to rsr exmag and felt a gain. ws2 is for looks and the quiet rumble it has for sound, performance wise it gave me nothing.

Buy whatever exhaust you like and add a resonator/s to it....

Very simple.

im going with the skunk 2 high flow cat-back. Turbo magazine did a test and it put down 8 hp increase in some areas. It is a litte more expensive than apex, but it is worth it.
