Default AEM UEGO A/F ratio gauge vs. regular A/F guage???

-I hear that the AEM UEGO gauge (and similar products) shows the A/F ratio in realtime, so what do regular A/F gauges show?

-The instructions for the UEGO gauge says to wire it up to a 12V power source...which source would you guys recommend? I've heard the fuse box, but I'm not seeing what they are talking about. I've also heard of wiring it to the cigarette lighter outlet wires, would that work too? As long as the UEGO guage turns on when the car turns on, right?

-Is the UEGO guage an ideal tool for any car N/A or forced induction??

If the AEM comes with a wideband then itll show the correct a/f. Everything else is a light show.
