2007 Acura RSX-RS- 315hp!
"Acura claims the RS is the stiffest coupe ever made, which jibes well with our impression. On the track, the RS felt even more solid than a C6 Corvette coupe."
Now thats what I like to hear.

when the evo and sti didn't exist, there were not too many performance cars at the 30k price range. the rsx-rs doesn't exist, and there aren't too many competitors at the price range. i'm talking about more performance minded cars.
i wonder what competitors the rsx-rs will have.

Yea it did seem pretty in depth to be made up but if they drove it and got that much data then it means a functional concept has been made, and then wouldnt Honda want to show it off themselves before letting others touch it? I dunno, I just am always skeptical of all of these car rumours.
Also, if they got all of this in depth time wheres the pics?

THIS IS JUST A RUMOR. THIS IS JUST A RUMOR. THIS IS JUST A RUMOR.
if you read the article carefully, there is a lot of mismatched information. also, the picture of the car is actually the concept a-spec model rsx.
the creator of the article also admitted that it was a prank.

I tried to get to the bottom of the rumor but there was just a link to a link to a link to a link to a link. pretty much neverending. AWD rsx = ungodly and just unlike any Honda product.
I seriously doubt that Acura actually has plans for this car. One, low sales numbers and a high production cost---it would cost a hell lot to retrofit the Civic chassis with AWD. Additionally, we haven't heard of them working on this project; it's suprising that they're going to offer it in one year.
Plus, they have all the JDM style Type-R engineers workin on the new NSX.

it wouldn't be hard to retrofit if the chassis was designed to have these parts in later iterations.

If you read ToVtec, it talks about how Honda is slowly incorporating their SH-AWD into other cars. The next car to get SH-AWD is an SUV. Honda talks about making a huge shift in what they currently do, which is FWD. The huge shift is to RWD with this SH technology. Eventually we will see more RWD cars from Honda besides the S2.
I cant wait, can you?
