Maintenance required light.
2005 Accord EX V6. I have searched, but could not find a post about turning off the Maintenance required light.
I had the 7500 mile service at 6k, but the light still came on at 7500. Going to the dealer is out of the way and time is very limited.

I understand you are a new car owner, but seriously, dont be freaking retarded. You have a car manual. Look it up in the back under " maintanance light".
The way i did it is the following. You insert your key into the ignition, put it in the 2nd position, and push the dash dimmer switch for like 15 seconds. Then take out the key and put it back in and start the car...should be off. The manual gives better directions, so look in there.

Different model Accord... Newer generation Accords don't work that way.

Can't believe people are too lazy to look in the owner's manual for something. And probably spent twice as much time searching and asking for help on the forum.
