Clicking on door panel during a hard turn
I hear clicking inside my driver's door panel whenever I do a hard rigth turn or a slow turn to the right hitting a bump on the left side.
I am 99% sure the sound is inside the door panel near the door jamb, so this is not suspension stuff.
Any idea what I should look for when I open my door panel?

Is it an electronic-type clicking? Or does it sound like there's something hitting something inside the panel?
I'm pretty sure it's going to be the latter, as there's really no relays or anything "electronic" that can click in there. Just pop the panel off and look for anything that's loose. It should only take a few minutes.

it sounds like a glass being tapped by a metal, but i'm pretty sure it's not relays clicking or any electornics. And it's pretty repeatable, same speed, same spot (getting out of my apartments complex ramp/bump), same sound.
In that case, I would just take a few minutes and pop off the door panel. Once you have that off, you can just look inside. You might have to pull off that annoying plastic cover/guard thing.

kind of random yet related question:
are you running aftermarket components with an external crossover mounted somewhere in the door?

I believe it's both. I dont remember it with the windows all the way down, but when it's like 70 % down it's clicking also.

No everything in the door is still stock. no added components.

the only thing i can think of off the top of my head that could be hitting the glass would be the rods connecting the door handles to the latching mechanism. do both interior and exterior door handles (and locks) still work correctly?
yes everything functionallyh works
I'll definitely look into those rods, maybe they are snap out of their plastic slide holder.

Just pop off the panel, f00.
It literally takes 3-5 minutes and there are only about 3 screws. After that, there are just clips that you have to pull off along the bottom of the door.

yea i pop off panel a lot and I will pop it off, just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if anyone got some hint what it might be
if it makes the sound only really when turning then whatever it is must be somewhat hanging and the inertia of the turn is causing it to go outward towards the door panel. Look for a loose wire or part of a wiring harness.
i have the same noise and yet to find it. but i have a good idea have you taken the black peice of where the rods go thru? try doing a turn with the panel off and see if anything rattles with it off. i still have to find out what mine is but i think its the black guard thing
