i was installing a car alarm, and when i nearly finished, tried stating car and it cranks normally but wont start.
is there some kind of built in immobiliser that i dont know of,
i have airbags but cant find the fuse box for it eigther as this could be the probem,

sounds like one of the ignition wires isnt connected or immproperly wires alarm

 

the thing is it crank bt wont turn over

 

hey guys i found the problem and its a blown fuse in the engine bay .
the thing is i checked all fuses with a multimeter and was measuring continuity. there for i thought all was good however there was a short and the only way to know that is to take the fuse out and check it
