obd 1 h22a in a del sol saturated or peak and hold?
depends on your "chip" I guess. I had problems tuning my OBDI p13 with the 290cc saturated injectors that came in my OBDII motor, so I switched to the 340cc peak and hold ones.
my instinct would be to get the 340cc peak and hold injectors, but it probably doesn't matter as long as you get tuned. if you go with the peak and holds don't forget the resistor box. just make sure you get the car tuned

how is anyone supposed to give you a definitive answer with the info you have provided?
"chipped p28" - it doesn't get much more vague than that

yeah Ive been boosted for awhile with tunertoy injectors and there junk. I made like 168 whp and tq on these injectors, didnt realize one was bad the entire time. So I swapped one and the car ran mint up untill now which is a month later. Never buin cheap injectors ever again
Correct me if I am wrong but the ecu does not designate the impediance of the injector. Every computer sends the same voltage or ohm and if you have low impediance injectors you need a resistor box and if you have high impediance (satruated) injectors then you just install them without a resistor box. Therefore it doesn't matter what ecu you are running just buy what you can get and install the resistor if it is needed.
Hope that helps.

for some reason I was assuming he was getting OEM spec injectors from RC, which in hindsight is a silly assumption to make. to sum it up, it doesn't matter if you go with peak and hold or saturated injectors. all that matters is the flow capacity of the injectors.
not necessarily.I myself have used the peak hold injectors on a p28 before with the resistor box.yeah,it works, but the motor will not run right....at least not to its peak.Once i changed to saturated and ditched the resistor box, everything ran alot better. With the other set-up,it felt like the motor lost a little "snap" to the throttle.kinda sluggish responding u could say.both peak hold and saturated injectors are driven by different types of circuits in an ecu.If u do a search for peak hold and saturated injectors on a search engine, ull see that both injectors are ran differently.
all a resistor box does is change the impedence of the injectors so the ecu see's the same resistance whether you are running peak and hold or saturated. So if the ecu see's the same resistance, what would be different on the board? I personally run peak and hold injectors on a chipped p28, and I saw the same slow response in the throttle too until i soldered the connections to the resistor box, then it went away completely.

Found these interesting articles.Basically,if the ecu was not meant to run peak hold injectors in the first place, then why even try?I know aem makes a peak and hold injector driver u can use,but not sure how u would incorporate it in your set-up.

I have had no problems with my chipped p28 and resistor box setup. I also know that the EMS works perfectly with a resistor box installed.
your ecu wasn't meant to run peak and hold injectors without a resistor box. the resistor box changes the impedence to the same total impedence that the ecu would see with saturated injectors. So once the resistor box is added to the fuel system, the amperage is the same as running saturated injectors (since the voltage is constant), meaning that your ecu sees the same resistance, voltage, and amperage regardless of which type of injector you are using.

I think you are over-rating the resister box. The only thing the resister box does is add resistance.
Peak and hold injectors are just that. It pulls the injector to 100% DC, then goes to desired DC. Saturated goes to the desired DC right away. I was trying to find the wave lenghs, but I lost them.
BTW, if you run a P28 (or other honda ECUs, for the most part) without a resister box, you will burn your injector drivers up.

I understand how the injectors work differently, i was just stating that because of the resistor box, the ecu can't tell a difference between the 2 different types.

I beleive you.....
If I read that correctly it's talking about peak and holds w/out a resistor pack.....
I have always ran saturated RC's and stock prelude and GSR's on this P28.
