Default Hoosier 225/50/15 too tall for setup??

I am wanting to get the new Hoosier DOT Drag Radial 225/50/15 tyre to run on my car...

I have a 140wkw (180whp) and run a close ratio 98 spec type R box with the 4.7 final drive...

Are these tyres going to be too tall for my setup???
they are approz 23.7 inches

I would use the M&H 13" version but I use the car for curcuit racing and don't wanna be swapping brakes across all the time.

I realise there are a few variable but some good advice would be much appreciated...

I can only rev the car to 8500

yeah, those are a bit too tall..
I would recommend a 23" tire...205/50/15 will work good for your power...

I haven't raced since the new gearbox etc so not sure on this setup....would estimate I am crossing the line at around 7000rpm in 4th running a 205/50/15
that is before the tune and cams etc - would expect to me at 7500 if I had the same whee;/tyre setup

The BGF drag force radials are supposed to be fantastic also but they are hard to get ahold over here..

I have this final drive. With 185/60/14 inch tires, i end the quarter mile in 4th gear at about 6500 rpms if i remember right. All i have is basic bolt ons on a gsr motor with type r tranny reving to 8k. I was thinking about going with 205s but i am about to be pusing 300hp turbo so i think 225s are what i need with short little FD.
