because i want to get parts for my b16a1 for my 89 civic si i want to get cams a turbo kit low.....pistons pulleys injecters intake maifold a better thorttle body a stage 2 clutch a valve job but if i dont go turbo i want to get header and intake so..... what would i have to look at to know if it would fit a b16a1 which is for the years 89-91 civics

well that b16 from the 99-2000 is a b16a2 i belive, so i dont think that will work, but i cant tell you for sure

 

Cams- As long as they're made for dohcvtec b-series motor,they'll work..
Turbokit- Some companies make kits for the 88-91 civic/crx with a b-series motor..Drag,revhard,turbonetics,etc..Or you can custom fab one yourself..Any b-series turbo manifold will work..
Pistons- All b-series pistons will work except b20,which has larger bores
Injectors- You'll need peak and hold
Intake manifold- All dohc vtec b-series will work..except gsr b18c/sir-g b18c
Clutch- Any b-series cable tranny
Intake- Aem makes a hybrid intake made for a 88-91 car with a b16a
Header-Hasport makes a header for the 88-91 car with a b-series motor with the 2 o2 bungs and has decent ground clearance..But any b-series manifold will bolt up to the head
