Default AHHHH IGNITION HELP!

alright it was all in caps so someone would read this. i have a 93 civic ex and i want to know if the cigarette lighter is "hot" when the ignition is off. this way i can hook my voltmeter up to it instead of my ignition. please let me know. thanks!

First off, CAPS is not allowed in here in your title. Second, I belive it is. In my truck it is, my honda does have the actual lighter.

push the lighter in when the car is off. if the lighter works, you have constant 12v all the time. if it doesn't, it's switched.

on a 92 dx hatch it's switched so i'm guessing yours is as well
