Default OEM ITR lip and skirts

Well someones hubcap killed my drivers door the other day so the silver '01 GSR will be visiting the body shop.

I currently have a replica ITR lip that I painted with O'rielys paint match rattle can, along with the stock skirts...

I figure now would be a good time to upgrade to a better fitting lip and maybe nicer skirts and have them really painted to match.

Where can a person buy an OEM or equal quality ITR lip?????

And I like the OEM optional skirts but I don't think I can swing the $500 or so they're bringing in the classifieds. Any non-ricey alternatives??? Are there any replica skirts that are worth using ????

C west style sides are decent. Pretty low profile. Other than that I dont know. Not real big on body kit type stuff. Sorry your car got messed up.

well what do you like? Immitation side skirts look just as good as oem, they just have fitment issues. Do you like what you see on tv, "grand touring" series on speed channel or something?

I suggest just painting your stock oem sideskirts. I bought 500dollar oem optional sideskirts, its a nice investment, they fit perfect, I love the look, but now that I have to pay rent it like....do i reallllly need these? Id be happy with painted oem sides and a little extra cash in my pocket.

ughhhh...sex imho.

If you're looking for the OEM optional lips and skirts, they're pretty hard to come by nowadays. And when you do, you're paying an inflated price like no other because of its discontinuation. When I had my GSR, I payed $200 for the front lip alone, which I heard about three or four years ago, the entire kit from the dealership was like $300 or so.

Try checking out JDMshit and places like that. They're not OEM but they do fit. That and most of them are ABS plastic and not cheap fiberglass, which is always a plus as well.

Streetstyler has some good deals there as well and a few friends of mine got their sets from there and are pretty content with it. They are the best prices I've seen so far as well.

Here's the URL; check it out!

In either case, good luck!

$300 for the entire kit? That is not what the dealership quoted me several years ago. The price they gave me was much higher than that.

Well, I kinda meant three or four years ago from 2001, when GSRs were still manufactured. And yes, that was a price I was offered at the Acura in Seattle. Maybe they heard me wrong but I know I didn't when the guy said, "Yeah, 300 for the kit."

Comptech would be the next best fitment of a replica itr lip to oem. I have one, but it was hard for me to get it to fit, i had to heat it up and stretch it on.. but once it was on, it fits good . My friends with the same lip didn't have any fitment issues. As for optional oem sides, i'd go for oem.. it literally snaps on, perfect fitment. Just gotta ask yourself if you can afford it, they don't come cheap anymore . Good luck!

Not all knock offs have fitment issues... I had an ABS Dynamics lip on my EM1, and it fit very nicely...

Got it from streetstyler for about ~$75iirc...

Not making fun of his wheels, I never said they were cheep, im just saying it seems like he would have spent more money on wheels and less on side skirts THATS ALL it was an observation.

and if you would like to know "how are those wheels $400?" Heres a link:
