He was at MIR for the import/domestic shootout.

He has video of most of the runs and has time to convert it all to digital.

He is volunteering to give you a digital recording of your run, if you were there.

I don't think that you have me but its worth a try. I had a blue WRX wagon with gold wheels. I ran around 11:00 in the ET class. It was nothing special but it would be cool to see it.

Here's how I saw the thread:

First: The first post is in "idiot English". I have a degree in proper English... therefore, I was a bit annoyed at his rushed, and altogether stupid post.

Second: This thread (it was in kills correct?) Was OFF-TOPIC which is FORBIDDEN by Knightsport... according to that, it is fair game until it is locked.

Third: We asked for a coherent translation of said "stupid english" post. None was given.

Fourth: I asked him what I was thinking... which is exactly what I've been doing for over 2 years on this site. Not anything new.

Fifth: If you're going to start policing kills like you've been 'kinda' doing for the past month, you would know that kills works in a specific way. The people in kills (there are many that post far more than I) tend to berate people who either do stupid crap, or posting stupid stories. That is why kills hasn't turned into a ricer gloat-fest, and a running tab of how many H-T members have died in racing accidents. If the OP would have done something coherent, and asked Casey before going OT, then I wouldn't have said a word.

Was there a 3rd Gen TL '04+ white with gold wheels and a custom turbo kit that ran yesterday? Some friends of mine were saying that there was however I believe they were full of **** like usual.

You're not being deliberately made an example. However, if you are mean and hateful in a thread that someone happens to report, you will probably be in trouble.

I don't really even want to get reports from Kills, but that's the way life is right now, and you should be aware that the no-flaming rule is in effect in whatever forum draws the report, special forum rules notwithstanding.

I spend my days writing and editing in English of all kinds, and I could easily understand the guy.

Nah, I'm not asking for it back. I deserved it anyway. I'm just not accustomed to having this happen.

Let me rephrase that: I'm aware of the rules, I know the rules, and yet I also knew (by multiple example) that it was never enforced in kills, and if it was, it was a more serious offense to post OT in there, and as such, the flaming was overlooked. It was the lesser of the two evils.

As long as I can still post, and as long as I can call people who are idiots what they are, then I don't have any more problems.
