Looking to install a trunk cargo light into a 93 2dr dx coupe - (not hatchback that the DIY is for) Im going to use a neon, i just dont know how to wire it. Is there existing wiring i can use for the switch? So when the trunk opens the light turns on.

i have thought about this one time...but i got lazy..

probably somehow tap into the wires on the top light inside the car..somehow.. at least thats the only place i thought of and idn't know how to get at them so i got lazy and didnt' do it

 

If there is already a light under the rear deck then you can use the power and trigger from there. The power will be the white/blue wire.
