i was installing a car alarm, and when i nearly finished, tried stating car and it cranks normally but wont start.

is there some kind of built in immobiliser that i dont know of,
i have airbags but cant find the fuse box for it eigther as this could be the probem,

i tested the fuse for fuel pump and it works. so dont know wat it could be

 

check if the car has spark.....

Yes, it does.

 

i called honda and they said if the key sign doesnt light up gren then the car needs to be taken into the dealer to reprogram or something like that.

which would mean i'ld have to get it towed in. cost and arm and a leg

this alarm is beginning to cost me soo much

im checking for spark as soon as i get home

why tow it??? try disconnecting the alarm at the main source and see if it starts .
