how hard to take apart the entire dash???
to completely disassemble every piece possible? HOURS? DAYS? depends all completely on your skills and efficiency.

We can pull them out with in about 30 minutes. I have seen first timer take all day or even two days.
Sorry, no pictures of the removal though

the first time it takes a long time cause of all the hidden bolts and clips that you dont know about or cant see. after that you know whats where and how to get to it.
30 minutes to a hr depends on how many times u have done it already like there are like 5 or 6 bolts that holds the dash on 10 mm and taking the dash and gettting it over the steering wheel is kinda hard without breaking it but about a hr depends on like if u have a lot of stuff to the dash though
etc. cd player all that good stuff
its easy stuff

if you have to ask, its probably too hard for you.
took me maybe an hour to remove complete dash and heater core.
maybe another half an hour to cut out all the **** i didnt want, and another 15 minutes to plug it in, and bolt it up.
i'll post pics when i get off work of a completely gutted EF with gutted dash.

Allocate a decent amount of time for it. I thought it was a pain in the dick.
And even after removing the steering wheel and lowering the column as much as possible without unbolting it, I still managed to crack the corner of the dash right by the VIN. It was awkward to remove.

bringin this back from the dead. Im tryin to disassemble my 88 crx si dash. I want to get the piece that works the window defroster off if possible or get access to the bottom. Is this possible? that piece was broke off by my friend when he picked it up. It seems to fit okay and seems like if i worked some superglue in there and put some jb weld or something underneath it would be either unnoticeable or very hard to tell. TIA

...Because the entire dashboard is glued together AND also screwed together.
You won't be able to subdivide the dashboard without cutting it apart.
