i know craftsman has the bolt-out kit, which seems ok, but doesn anyone remember what the sockets are called that have the little nubs that grab the flat parts of the nuts instead of the end-points? i think they used to be advertised on TV back in the day and i can't remember the name...i'm pretty sure craftsman makes a similar setup beside the bolt-out kit.

Are you going to replace the bolt or do you just want it out? I bought a kit at advanced auto for my tensioner bolt. The head was stipped. The kit has like 4 little sockets with flutes in them that when you turn the ratchet they cut into the bolt. Then you throw away the bolt and replace with a new one.

i am going to replace it but i'd rather get the Metrich-copy Craftsman kit vs. the kind that cut into the bolthead/nut...tho i know the ones that cut can probably get anything out no matter how bad.
thanks all
