Apex N1 canister problem
Here's my little dilemma, I have a full catback Apex N1 exhaust on my gsr. Lately I have noticed a slight exhaust leak when I would be driving and get on the gas a little bit. I thought it was one of the gaskets. I got under the car and everyhting was ok. The other day I was driving home and noticed that the sound got a little deeper. I stopped somewhere before I got home and when I got back in the car the muffler started to rattle and I was like wtf? Got out to look and I see the muffler itself has seperated from the piping from the inside of the canister as well as the back of it. Basically I can slide the canister off and I will just have a pipe with no muffler. I am beyond the use of warranty so that's out of the question. Do you guys I can have a muffler shop re-weld the back to hold it in place or should I just get an axle back replacement?
i dont see why it cant be welded back on. Make sure your hangers are in good shape and the system is supported correctly as it sounds as vibration and movement caused this
